Community Services For Children Professional Development Coordinator in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania

Work Environment: Newly hired Community Services for Children staff members will receive a $1,000 net monetary incentive. The candidate will receive the $1,000 payout upon completion of probation.

Job Description:

  • Handle logistics related to scheduling of training and professional development events
  • Oversee and update Learning Management System (LearnUpon)
  • Assemble and process all post-training evaluations and maintain class rosters
  • Use and maintain BambooHR software to track staff credentials and training, and generate reports
  • Organize and facilitate New Employee Orientation including contacting new employees and their managers, preparing all paperwork and welcome packets, obtaining supplies/snacks, coordinating NEO presenters
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance timelines for all mandated classes, i.e. First Aid-CPR, Confidentiality, Mandated Reporting, etc.
  • Track and support employees through CDA renewals
  • Manage monthly Early Head Start/Head Start training reports utilizing MS Excel programs
  • Support Human Resources Department as required
  • Provide support to the Front Desk as needed

Requirements:

  • HS diploma required, Associate's in human resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of prior experience providing training for adult learners
  • Additional experience with development training preferred
  • Advance data entry experience and knowledge of Human Resources/Professional Development management system
  • Advanced knowledge and working experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
  • Exceptional oral/written communication, effective organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
