Kelly Services Inventory Control Specialist in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize our inventory processes. Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

1 st Shift: 8AM-5PM

Pay Rate: $38 Hourly

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, and Holiday Pay

Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill orders and manage replenishment to support operational functions.

  • Inventory Management experience. ERP experience including SAP is a plus.

  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize specialized software and customized programs to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Office Team to process all inbound materials related to inventory pull back.

  • Engage with freight forwarders, receiving parties, and internal clients to ensure seamless logistics operations.

  • Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval.

  • Train and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.

  • Assist in regulatory inspections and perform safety and quality audits.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

  • Required: Four years of relevant work experience.

  • Preferred experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.

  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and proactive communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Preferred: Advanced degree or relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Inventory management experience.

  • Strong computer skills and ability to use specialized software and customized programs.

  • Availability to work Monday - Friday on-site.

  • Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes, including working flexible shifts and one weekend every 4-5 weeks.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
