Phoebe Ministries is hiring a Full-time Executive Director to join our long-term care facility in Allentown, PA.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for directing the overall operations of the Allentown campus. Responsible for operating the respective services in accordance with the established Mission, Vision and Values of Phoebe Ministries and current applicable federal, state, and local laws; developing, implementing, and achieving annual goals and objectives as established in the annual operating plan; ensuring the department is operating in compliance with established policies and procedures and regulatory requirements; directing and supervising assigned personnel; communicating and interfacing with appropriate personnel; providing periodic management reports and daily problem solving. Drives initiatives and holds staff accountable for customer driven culture and quality assurance performance improvement.   

    Requirements:

  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families and co-workers.

  • BA or BS degree in Health Care Administration or related field

  • Current PA nursing home administrator’s license required

  • Personal Care Home Certificate for Administrator

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing a multi-department combined long term care business operation preferably in a CCRC setting

  • Experience in clinical program development, dementia, and end of life care

  • Prior experience in managing building renovations desired

  • Valid PA Driver’s License

    Skills:

Understanding of the skills direct reports are expected to perform; excellent interpretive reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; excellent analytical and planning skills; expert in the knowledge of regulations governing long term care; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and manage individuals, professional, and administrative personnel.
