Description

Position:  Clubhouse Generalist Department:  Mission Services Reports to:  Clubhouse Manager Status:  Non-Exempt Goodwill is committed to creating a culture of belonging where all people feel respected and valued. Summary To enhance the Clubhouse programs by providing both direct and supplemental assistance in the development and accomplishment of daily operations, activities, and special events with the Clubhouse environment. Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the daily management of designated work units, ensuring they operate in accordance with Clubhouse International Standards Collaborate with members and staff to create an inclusive and productive environment focused on meaningful work, skill development, and planning, development, coordination and implementation of activities and special events for the Clubhouse, utilizing the input from clubhouse members in all decisions. Support members in developing their vocational, educational, and social goals, encouraging active participation in Clubhouse activities. Ensure the overall atmosphere is one of respect, inclusion, and mutual support, contributing to Clubhouse members' recovery and community integration. Assist in the arrangement for all venues and materials. Coordinates with the point person of any given activity or special event and helps arrange for necessary materials and equipment needed and ensures they are functional and safe. Assists in the physical setup, decoration, and execution of special events. Provides transportation to and from evening and weekend activities, holidays, and special events for clubhouse members. Utilizes company vans to transport members according to policy guidelines. Follows and enforces all safety procedures and requirements. Assumes responsibility to see that vans are in proper condition, fueled, and safe. Maintains necessary logs, records, and timesheets as instructed. Upholds the values and principles of the Clubhouse model and the policies and procedures of Goodwill Keystone Area, ensuring the program meets and exceeds member expectations. Promotes an environment of workplace safety by training and informing others regarding safety standards and precautions. Monitors safety and takes corrective action. Assures that regulatory safety requirements are adhered to. Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Clubhouse Manager.

Qualifications

Education and Experience High school diploma and six (6) months of relevant experience in a Human Services field. Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform simple math and have basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, and internet. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactorily complete a motor vehicle check on an annual basis. Must have the ability to drive a 15 passenger van. Good communication skills. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to independently organize work to completion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform work in a flexible environment. Must complete and successfully pass Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
