Job Description:

Based in our office in Allendale, NJ, The Art Packaging Coordinator upports the Art Department in processing artwork for all Edgewell Custom Brands packaging. Administration of documents and portals, proofing, and samples. Must be able to thrive in a deadline driven environment, be detailed oriented and a strong multi-tasker. Coordinate and review art packaging projects from initiation through final approvals. Work with various internal and external partners.

Accountabilities

  • Assist Manager in gathering components and documentation to begin package development with internal or external designers.

  • Assist in completing forms/portals with packaging technical specs and vendor information.

  • Organize, route/track and facilitate approvals throughout the design/proofing process.

  • Communicate with internal colleagues, vendors, designers and customers.

  • Proofread for content, text, color, and good printing practices against approved art/standard copy. Approve in G2M to communicate final approval of artwork.

  • Monitor art packaging timelines for assigned projects and ensure dates are met.

  • Expedite delivery of all proofs to correct destination, prepare FedEx packages, track deliverables, and review shipping invoices.

  • Provide Account Managers with semi-monthly status updates.

  • Catalogue printed samples of packaging materials and finished goods for color/print consistency and accuracy.

  • Work with Samples Coordinator to order and maintain component pieces and parts for creating package mockups, and administration of production samples for account review.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production-related challenges, troubleshoot issues, and help implement solutions effectively.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, packaging, or related field.

  • Experience in art packaging coordination, or print production, preferably within the consumer goods industry.

  • Strong attention to detail. Meticulous approach to handling samples and reviewing artwork files for accuracy and completeness.

  • Strong computer skills required (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader)

  • Ability to develop and execute spreadsheets for tracking work.

  • Experience in SAP helpful.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes, software tools, and best practices.

  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Team player with a strong work ethic.

The salary range for this position is $40,000-60,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
