Description

We are seeking a Software Developer for our team in the financial industry located in. In this role, you will be working across all levels of our organization to design, maintain, and enhance our website, online banking platform, and internal systems. You will be collaborating with product and design teams to align project goals, participating in product development, and ensuring code quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in product scoping, discovery, and framing, providing technical input to translate user features into system design.

• Contribute to architectural design and decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Node.js for backend and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to align project goals.

• Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders on technical deliverables and challenges.

• Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews and testing methodologies.

• Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative solutions.

• Perform comprehensive code reviews, identify bugs, and propose improvements.

• Design and implement efficient and well-documented RESTful API endpoints.

• Integrate APIs from various platforms.

• Leverage experience with website CMS to efficiently manage and update website content.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

• Actively participate in the continuous enhancement of development practices

Requirements

• Possess proficiency in Atlassian Jira for managing projects and identifying issues.

• Demonstrable experience in Backend Development, ensuring the server-side application logic is well-executed.

• Capable of performing Bug Tracking, identifying and rectifying software bugs.

• Must have strong knowledge and experience in programming with Node.

• Ability to design and manage Database systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Proficiency in AB Testing to compare versions of web pages and optimize website performance.

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology, facilitating adaptive planning and evolutionary development.

• Expertise in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.

• Experience in API Development, designing and managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
