Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description

As a Test Engineer, you will be a key member of a testing team or a cross-functional scrum team. You will be responsible for conducting tests in a specific area as per the test strategy and plans. Your role involves developing test cases, planning test setups, executing tests, and providing feedback to stakeholders. You will ensure the testability of the systems/components and may develop and maintain test scripts for automated testing. Collaboration with other stakeholders to reproduce and resolve defects is crucial. You will also contribute to improving the effectiveness, speed, and productivity of testing processes.

• We are looking for someone who ideally has elevator industry experience.

• If no Elevator industry experience, looking for Control Cabinet / Electrical Cabinet experience (electronics assembly)

• Requirement: National Instruments /Lab View Experience

o Ideal but not required: creating test sequences / program build from scratch.

o Required: can change variables / navigate / access Vis

• Electrical Safety Knowledge (LOTO, 420 /480V)

• Schematics / Electronic diagram reading capabilities

• Point to point testing experience.

Hard Skills - Must haves

• Labview (Test Stand- Test Suites)

• Electrical schematics/hardware knowledge (wiring, understand AC/DC voltages, 480V, 230, 12 to 24 (DC voltages)

• Troubleshooting electrical components

• Huge nice to have- some form of C# programming, reading C# and converting them to Labview
