Job Title: 1st Shift TechnicianJob Description

As a 1st Shift Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials related to Disposables and Electronics, in-process, and finished products. You will act as a coordinator within Quality Operations to meet the needs of internal customers, document all non-conformances, assist with investigations, and ensure compliance with QSR, ISO, and company management rules and regulations. Your role includes reviewing processes, supporting audits, performing and reviewing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, performing line clearance and in-process inspections, evaluating materials, using sampling plans, documenting inspection results in accordance with GMP/GDP, coordinating training for new technicians, generating non-conforming material reports, assisting engineering staff with quality improvement projects, and more.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment (ideally ISO certified company)

• Technical proficiency with inspection tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Force Gages, Vision System, etc.)

• Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, and engineering blueprints

Soft Skills

• High accountability

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High attention to detail and ability to stay focused for extended periods

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Allen, Texas.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in various Quality Operation areas such as Incoming, In-process, Finals, and Electronics as needed. The position may involve working on projects related to new instrumentation, redlining documents for improvements or compliance, using a pallet jack to move materials, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
