Job Description:

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Continuity and Emergency Management Planning Lead to be a focal point for site continuity and emergency management activities at a US government customer site in Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

● Overseeing emergency management (EM), continuity of operations (COOP), continuity of Govt. (COG), and test, training (TT&E).

● Be primary POC for site Continuity and Emergency Management Group (CEMG).

● Assist with CEMG strategic and operational planning, assessments, surveys.

● Ensure site personnel are adequately trained and prepared to support emergency responses in accordance with established plans and procedures.

● Evaluate and identify gaps in site’s ability to support ongoing, newly formed, or planned capabilities.

● Attend and support CEMG meetings, councils, committees, working groups, events, and boards as necessary to accomplish requirement contracts and relevant governance documents, such as DoDI 6055.17

● When required, prepare and distribute meeting notices, notes, visual aids, and present briefings and create agendas.

● Create and maintain signed copies of plans, after action reports (AARs), and associated SOPs for CEMG activities (e.g. Installation Emergency Management Plan, site Emergency Action Guide, Infectious Disease Response Plan, TT&E Activity Plan).

● Coordinate with site Incident Management Team, Emergency Management Working group, Continuity Working Group, Infectious Disease Working Group, and assist these groups in the completion of the site All Hazzard Threat Assessment Capabilities Assessments.

● Review and update all CEMG plans, succession and Delegation of Authority documentation, recall rosters and contact lists, DTRA Mission Assurance Assessments.

● Test communications equipment and document results.

● Test mass warning and notifications systems and document results.

● Train personnel on CEMG plans and document training.

● Train site leadership on succession planning and document training.

● Plan, coordinate, conduct and document exercises. Develop AARs, and recommend, track, and close corrective actions.

● Maintain contents and materials of emergency offsite locations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

● Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

● Location: Customer Site in Australia

● FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-300, IS-700, and IS-800 certifications

ABCP and IS- 400 certifications are optional

The likely salary range for this position is $152,150 - $205,850. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
