Job Description

A start up fitness company is looking for a junior to mid-level front-end engineer with experience in building web applications and components using the React framework. This React front-end engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the web applications for the clients digital products. These web applications form a continuous user experience with mobile applications and other digital products, so this role highly emphasizes cross platform unity for the look and feel of front-end assets and components. This role also involves maintaining build and release best practices and deploying web applications in an AWS cloud environment.

Skills and Requirements

-6+ years of front end engineering experience

-Extensive experience writing web applications using React or NextJS frameworks.

-Experience working with product management and UI/UX designers to implement a unified digital products vision.

-Experience with web application security best practices.

-Able to work during normal business hours in US Eastern Time.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English -Experience with cross-platform deployments using Expo

-Experience developing shared web and mobile components in the React / ReactNative frameworks

-Experience with Python and the FastAPI framework, to enable communication with backend engineers.

-Experience deploying web applications on AWS cloud platform. null
