Position Description

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Glass Cutter. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the person we are looking for will be recognized for his or her ability to provide positive management to employees.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust glass and glass product finishing machines • Visually inspect products for quality • Set up or adjust automatic glass feeding, flowing and forming machines • Cut glass along marked outlines or around pattern • Ensure correct operation of machines and verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments • Examine and mark defective glass to obtain the best cut

Required Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma • No experience required – Full training will be provided • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Ability to work standing for extended periods • Languages: French or English
