Kuehne+Nagel Inventory Manager in Alburtis, Pennsylvania

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Control Manager with exceptional skills who is ready to be a game changer for our growing business. Your Role

In this role, you will ensure the physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, and account for all defective or damaged products, and provide corrective action. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.

Your Responsibilities

  • You willbe accountable for the success of the inventory function and customersatisfaction

  • Lead aninventory team, train and motivate staff, evaluate and guide theirperformance, and nurture their professional development

  • Supportleadership and Human Resources to ensure DEI (Diversity, Equity, andInclusion) programs are embraced and valued

  • Identifynew techniques and analytics to improve the overall planning process

  • Lead theannual cost planning process ensuring accuracy and transparency

  • Oversee and monitor discrepancies viacycle counts and adjustments

  • Implementloss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk

  • Build arecovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for andhandled properly

  • Promoteaccountability and process improvement based on goals; create action plansand issue resolution tracking

  • CreateStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory roles

  • Createall necessary reports and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy

  • Driveaccountability and process improvement based on KPIs (Key PerformanceIndicators) and targets, including creating action plans and issueresolution tracking

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor'sdegree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ yearsof experience in a distribution environment

  • 5+ yearsin an inventory role

  • 3+ yearsin a leadership position

  • 3+ yearsof WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience

  • Experiencehandling Tech goods in a 3PL environment is strongly preferred

  • Certified inProduction and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus
