Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening at our facility in Alburtis, PA for an Equipment Support Technician on our 2nd shift. In this role you will help maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all of the testing and manufacturing equipment used to produce our high-quality products. You will also have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and test equipment being qualified by engineering to support our new product manufacturing.

Responsibilities

 

    • Provide unscheduled troubleshooting and repair support of equipment to the manufacturing/engineering lines, responding to breakdowns and provide root cause and corrective actions. Provide support whenever the production lines are running.
    • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing and test equipment to maintain a safe and reliable environment.
    • Implement equipment improvement projects related to equipment safety and product quality and delivery.
    • Interact within the Equipment Support Team and provide status updates and offer assistance to other group members to maintain a minimal to zero work order back log.
    • Maintain the equipment calibration process to comply with Lutron procedures.

Qualifications

 

 

    • 2 or 4-year degree in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Automation, Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent is preferred, OR 3+ years' work experience as a Maintenance Technician.
    • If you have a degree, a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 GPA is required.
    • Minimum of 2 years hands-on work experience with electronics, electrical, or electrical equipment is preferred.
    • Aptitude in troubleshooting, rebuilding, and maintaining various manufacturing equipment.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong computer skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Be available to work on 2nd shift, hours are Monday-Friday 3:30pm to 12:00 midnight.
