CACI is seeking a cleared Project Manager- Engineering for its team in Albuquerque, NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects.

The Opportunity:

  • Define and manage requirements provided through system requirements documents

  • Possess a core understanding of determining the root cause of failures and correcting them

  • Possess an exceptional knowledge of providing technical assistance with the design and implementation of a system of systems in a military communications environment.

  • Strong background in reading and interpreting instructions and safety procedures associated with communication system integration processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining requirements, design, and production of transportable and mobile shelters consisting of a wide variety of commercial and government communication systems.

  • Conduct trade studies, feasibility assessments, analysis of alternatives, and root cause analyses.

  • Understand the assessment of an in-place system architecture and help identify system limitations

  • Collaborate with engineering staff to analyze and resolve complex design compatibility issues.

  • Oversee the development of user guides, test plans, test procedures, rack elevations, cable pinouts, and other communication system documentation as required.

  • Coordinate the procurement of material and components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements

  • Leads others and be able to manage supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:

Required:

  • An Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Five to Ten Years of demonstrated experience as a project manager supporting system engineers, the system development life cycle on DoD programs as well as communication system design and implementation experience supporting programs in a DoD environment

  • Experience in writing customer system-specific installation and operator maintenance manuals.

  • Experience with installation and configuration of satellite communication systems, secure voice systems, computer systems, networks (LAN/WAN), radio systems, unclassified phones, and video teleconferencing systems.

  • Proficient with MS Office tools

Desired:

  • Seven to Ten years of Transportable/mobile shelter communication system integration experience

  • Active TS/SCI

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,900 - $148,900
