What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking an Intern Year Round - Business Undergraduate

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Support audits by examining records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies.

• Support audits by preparing reports of findings and recommendations to management and other entities.

• Assist in reconciling over 500 contractors’ electronic cost claims on an annual basis. This includes working with the contractor when differences are noted.

• Create audit binders to include all relevant documents from internal and external sources for each contractor on the audit plan.

• May evaluate and recommend improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.

Salary Range:

Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0

• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer

• U.S. citizenship

Qualifications We Desire:

• Enrolled in Business or Accounting courses.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to create and analyze pivot tables. Utilize lookup and match functions to identify differences in large data sets.

• Data Analytic skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Security Clearance:

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
