Honeywell Project / Field Coordinator in Albany, New York

Honeywell is looking for a Project / Field Coordinator to join our team in the Building Automation business group. BA is dedicated to the integration and management of advanced automation technologies in buildings to enhance operational efficiency, energy savings, and occupant comfort. This group focuses on developing smart systems that control HVAC, lighting, security, and other essential building functions, utilizing data analytics and IoT connectivity to optimize performance. By leveraging real-time monitoring and automation, BA aims to create environments that are not only intelligent and responsive but also aligned with sustainable practices and building management standards.

In this role, you will work out of our Albany, NY location and report to our Sr Field Service Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of project related administrative tasks, relative to the installation of building automation systems in customer buildings.

  • Responsible for following customer required procedures for on time billing.

  • Delivers a great customer experience with Honeywell.

  • Assists project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues.

  • Communicates with stakeholders, and team members on project status; including progress, risk and issues that may have an impact on project delivery.

  • Provides professional communication to customers and contractors in regards to project bids.

  • Creation of projects and sales orders in ERP system [SAP] from Sales estimate and proposal.

  • Order, track and expedite factory and purchased material.

  • Preparation of Subcontractor information packages.

  • Work seamlessly with assigned Project Manager(s) and Sales staff.

  • Assembles final job documentation packages to customers.

  • Manages invoicing in ERP system.

  • Process lien waivers, tax discrepancies, credits, sales order adjustments.

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,600 - $90,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3 years of practical administration experience

  • 1 year experience in fast paced, high volume project portfolio environment.

  • 3 years experience with Microsoft Office

  • 1 year experience with ERP collaboration software

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Requires a high level of organizational and communication skills

  • SAP ERP system strongly desired.

  • Experience related to HVAC, electrical, or construction industry a plus.
