Description of Duties:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The fabrication and characterization of nanostructured devices for post CMOSapplications, including carbon nanotube devices, 2D van der Walls devices, and topological insulating and topological superconducting devices.

  • Experience in exfoliation of graphene, transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors.

  • Demonstrated background in ebeam lithography techniques to make complex devices.

  • Demonstrated background in device physics in both electrical and optical analysis.

  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree from college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.

  • Background in fabrication and characterization of nanostructured devices.

  • Background in electron beam lithography and nanostructured device fabrication using van der Walls materials.

  • Background in electrical and optical characterization of materials.

  • Experience with cryogenic measurements.

  • Applicants must demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus community.

  • This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

NOTES: Position contingent on the availability of funding.

Additional Information:

Salary: $45,000-$60,000 Commensurate with experience
