First New York Federal Credit Union Part Time Lending Support Associate in Albany, New York
Job TypePart-timeDescriptionResponsible for assisting in the Consumer, Residential & Commercial loan servicing areas, as well as, assisting Consumer Loan Processors in the support of funded & pending loan applications. In addition, this role oversees the funding of outsourced conventional mortgages and the coordination of closing documents. Duties & ResponsibilitiesServicing of all loan types; this includes but is not limited to coordinating with third party vendors, verifying all insurance and taxes, responding and following up on audit and post-closing issues, setting up log sheets, and responding to all servicing related inquiries. Interact with lending operations and other Credit Union personnel regarding loan servicing. Assists Consumer Processors with determining what pending loan information information is outstanding and follows up on these items in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to gathering insurance binders, vehicle titles and income verification.Coordinates the disbursal of loans with member via DocuSign, in Branch disbursals, transfer to share accounts or other means.Review and prepare various weekly, monthly and quarterly reports including, share secured, stock secured, certificate secured.Responding to member inquiries and follow up.Monitor all end day processing to ensure all reports are generated and transactions posted.Continually look for process improvements and make recommendations, as needed. Possess basic knowledge of Credit Union products.All other duties that may be assigned from time to time. RequirementsHigh School diploma and minimum of three (3) years of experience in lending operations.General knowledge and experience using Loan Origination Systems (LOS).Proficient use of Microsoft Office softwareGood oral, written and auditory communication skills.Must be well organized and have a strong ability to problem solve.Good interpersonal skills.Strong ability to multi-task and project planning skills.Seeking a self-motivated individual who has initiative and ability to work independently and/or in a team environment. Work Schedule: Monday. - Friday. 20-25 hours weekly.
Minimum Salary: 19.65 Maximum Salary: 19.65 Salary Unit: Yearly
