Responsibilities: * Grounds keeping (visually inspect buildings, parking lots, driveways, for maintenance needs, safety, accessibility, and orderliness.
* Mowing, maintaining power equipment, wash and clean vehicles monthly, use snow blower, using hedge/weed trimmer, riding mower, leaf blower/vacuum.) * Candidate may be asked to assist with simple repairs, and to deliver specimens to labs, get gas for mowers, and getting supplies (all from the capital district with supplied truck). * Custodial duties include general cleaning duties (restrooms, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage, recyclables, clean windows, change lightbulbs, change clocks, check and restock paper items and perform other sanitary tasks as needed.
* Keep workshop clean and orderly, and paint stand-alone items. * Candidate may also be asked to assist with mechanical/plumbing/electrical, and carpentry repairs.
