This pivotal leadership role is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring exceptional resident care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Hours and Benefits for the Director of Residential Nursing

• Salary $100,000 - $105,000 / year

• Monday to Friday on-site, with an on-call component

• Medical / Dental / Vision / PTO and Holidays

Responsibilities for the Director of Residential Nursing

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality care by supervising nursing staff, including LPNs and Resident Care Associates.

• Hire, train, evaluate, and motivate nursing and care staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety measures.

• Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations, including infection control and universal precautions.

• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, staff licensure, and care plans.

• Serve as an on-call resource for resident emergencies and staffing issues.

• Conduct staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Requirements for the Director of Residential Nursing

• NYS RN License

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive supervisory and management experience in elderly or disabled care settings
