Description

We are in search of a Call Center Specialist based in Albany, New York. This role is centered around managing call files, promoting customer service, and providing necessary information for retailers. This position is a temp to hire employment opportunity, where you will be interacting with retailers orders or shipments, and also promoting new products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively and efficiently manage call files

• Perform outbound calls to contact Lottery retailers, promote new products, and provide premium customer service

• Handle inbound calls professionally

• Ensure accurate and efficient preparation and completion of all paperwork

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the current product mix of available games

• Inform retailers about upcoming lottery promotions, jackpots, and new games coming to market

• Work closely with retailers to resolve incorrect orders and/or shipments

• Make daily calls to retailers who have not confirmed orders

• Demonstrate the ability to multitask

• Show willingness to be cross-trained

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Proficiency in customer service is essential

• Experience with data entry is required

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Knowledge of various computer systems and software, including CRM systems

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Must be willing to undergo training as required

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if needed

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Higher educational qualifications will be considered as an advantage.
