Position Overview:
Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced
Azure Data Solutions Engineer/Architectwith a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure data services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable data solutions using
Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and
Power Platform(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). This role focuses on integrating cloud technologies and optimizing data workflows to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Leverage Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and the Power Platformto support enterprise-wide data integration and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud technologies and ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex data-related issues and ensure high availability of cloud services.
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and Power Platform.
- Bachelor's degree in operations research, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data governance, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to design and deploy end-to-end data solutions in Azure environments.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with government contracts or in defense-related data environments.
- Familiarity with data migration strategies and cloud modernization projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new challenges in data management.
