DUTIES: The main purpose of the Assistant Director is to provide support to the Adelante Director/Landlord with oversight of the Permanent Supportive Housing Program and Case Managers. The Assistant Director provides direct supervision to case managers on a weekly and day to day basis as needed. The Assistant Director is responsible for the oversite and compliance of case manager s completion of assessments, service plans, and case notes.

The assistant director will oversee case managers to ensure they are utilizing a strength-based approach that empowers clients to identify goals to overcome barriers and help them create plans to achieve their goals. This process includes but is not limited to assisting clients in accessing behavioral health and substance use counseling, accessing health and wellbeing services, attending court proceeding, navigating and understanding service plan objectives, assisting with job search, access to job training, enrollment in higher education or obtaining their GED certification, accessing parenting classes, maintaining housing stability and providing financial management education. Approves purchase according to grant guidelines in the absence of the Adelante Director Provides direct supervision and intensive support to housing case managers Monitors the timely completion of assessments, service plans and clinical case notes. Reviews case notes to ensure they are compliant with Medicaid Billing regulations. Monitors HMIS entries to comply with DOLA regulations Identifies training needs for housing case managers Provides crisis management support to case manager Assists housing case manager with initial approval of prospective new tenants On Call Available to on-call case managers for emergencies Provides oversight and supervision to non-housing Adelante Staff in the absence of the Director and as needed.

WAGES: $58,000 - $60,000 a year

SHIFT & DURATION: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, On call, Weekends as needed
