Kelly Services Production Technician in Alameda, California

Kelly Science and Clinical is excited to connect you with an opportunity as a Production Technician at a growing company in Alameda, CA. As a member of the Production Team in the Operations division, you will play a key role in Production Chemical manufacturing.

The Summary:

  • Dayshifts working 6AM to 6PM

  • Days: Sunday through every other Wednesday or every other Wednesday through Saturday (Just example of shift days-may change)

  • Pay: $25-30/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment and prepare materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure materials meet quality specifications.

  • Accurately record data in tracking systems.

  • Handle equipment that utilizes flammable gases.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

  • Maintain consistent, on-time attendance and punctuality.

  • Continually assess and suggest improvements for production processes.

  • Work overtime as required by the Production Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of consistent experience as an operating technician in a manufacturing environment with Chemicals

  • Proficiency in data collection, computer entry, and basic math.

  • Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to report concerns and incidents.

  • High attention to detail in performing tasks.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Collaborative and positive team player, with the ability to work independently and adjust quickly to change.

  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive use of hands, including light to forceful material handling.

  • Ability to work in a controlled clean-room manufacturing environment, including:

  • Wearing clean-room garments.

  • Handling contamination-sensitive materials and equipment.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs with support.

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including fire-resistant clothing, gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes.

  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear respiratory protection daily.
