Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Title Typist in the Insurance industry. This position is based in Akron, Ohio, and requires a candidate who can efficiently manage work queues, review closing documents, and handle customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of closing documents and commitments provided by the closing group/agents

• Type and review various types of final policies, replacement policies, and servicing policies within the department

• Monitor files for completeness of lien clearance package, recognizing missing items

• Handle general internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner through direct email or group managed email box

• Resolve problem files in a timely manner or elevate to the appropriate manager or risk management

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Understand and run various reports for clients to keep the flow of orders moving and removing aged open orders

• Monitor files for receipt of funds prior to issuing policy

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Customer Service, Data Entry, Documentation, Typing, and Document Review. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience in data entry.

• Ability to handle documentation with accuracy.

• Typing speed sufficient to meet job requirements.

• Experience in document review.

• Knowledge of insurance title procedures and regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
