Senior SQPE Specialist

The Senior Safety, Quality, and Patient Experience Specialist will be directing safety, quality, and experience work within your assigned scope of responsibility. In this role, you will become part of a team that promotes high reliability and a close-knit culture.

A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role, will:

  • Implement improvement initiatives using the Cleveland Clinic Improvement Model.

  • Partner with clinical leadership to set objectives and key results.

  • Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with all standards and favorable performance on safety, quality, utilization, and experience metrics.

  • Participate in engraining the safety, quality, and experience requirements.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • 8 years of related experience with safety, quality, patient experience and Performance Improvement program or related healthcare experience.

  • Experience in working with Joint Commission, HFAP, CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid: Government agency that provides reimbursement for accredited trainees) surveys process preferably in a leadership/coordination role.

  • In-depth knowledge of patient safety best practices, joint commission standards, and conditions of participation.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Clinical experience.

  • RN Licensure.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • In some locations the ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $40.48

Maximum hourly: $61.74
