Electrical Assembler

Pay: $20-$25/HR - Based on Experience

Shift: 1st 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Typical Day:

Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling and installing electrical components and control devices into custom-built equipment.

• Assemble electrical components and control devices to large subassemblies and completed units

• Perform basic wiring of simple circuits, outlets, and switches.

• Use basic power tools including drills, impacts, and grinders

• Read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams to assemble units to correct specs.

• Build shipping pallets as required and prepare units for shipping.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years' experience in an electrical assembly role

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Ability to read electrical schematics

• Experience using hand and power tools for assembly-based roles

• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Akron, Ohio.

Work Environment

Our client builds data cooling centers for customers such as Facebook, Microsoft, Google, etc. These units store all of the data and information processed by the systems, and the cooling centers keep the controls/wires cool. There are fans in every unit to keep the panels cool because they get extremely hot.
