[Our team is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician, especially with electrical diagnosis experience, to keep up our level of commitment to safety and excellent customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform commercial truck/trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on trucks, and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. [Job Purpose:]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""} [Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; reporting deficiencies to the service manager; and keeping accurate records.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[Duties:]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""} [* Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[* Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics or other repairs in field.

  • Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventative maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[* Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[* Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements for industrial safety standards (DOT inspections).]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[* Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}

[* Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; notifying service manager of deficiencies.]{ms="" san="" serif";="" font-size:="" 14pt"=""}
