Description

We are offering an immediate contract or contract-to-permanent employment opportunity in Airway Heights, Washington, for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for full month-end close, account reconciliation, and payroll management. You will also be supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will partner with the outside CPA for providing financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct full month-end close procedures to ensure all financial data is accurate.

• Perform account reconciliations to confirm all transactions are recorded correctly.

• Manage payroll for staff, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time.

• Prepare and review balance sheet statements for financial accuracy.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

• Utilize various software tools for accounting

• Oversee the general ledger and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage job costing to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to process and manage Journal Entries

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Experience in Payroll management

• Familiarity with Jonas Club Software

• Understanding of Job Cost accounting methods
