Summary of Functions

Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the installation, inspection, repair, maintenance, and alteration of Casino heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and related equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. • Ensures the quality of the facility and equipment meets all set standards. • Install, diagnose, inspect, repair, maintain and service a wide variety of heating, ventilation and air condition equipment and systems. • Replace fans, belts, sheaves, motors, gaskets, filters, bearings, seals, compressors, electric and electronic components and lubricate parts. • Adjust and install switches, gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing, transformers, pressure regulators controllers, contactors, mag starters and other parts as needed. • Checks distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperatures, and pressures. • Add refrigerants and oil. • Determine requirements for parts, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment; establish cost of repairs and equipment replacement. • Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools utilized in the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition. • Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels. • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record. • Monitor and adjust internal building pressures for smoking and nonsmoking areas. • Modify and or fabricate equipment parts as needed for specialty needs. • This job description does not list all the duties of this position.
