About the role

Kramer is looking for a Product Manager to lead Kramer’s VIA product line for wireless presentation and collaboration solutions.

We are looking for a passionate product leader, outbound and inbound oriented, with experience in leading large technology-intensive product portfolio in the field of audio-visual experiences. The qualified candidate will lead this product line that consists of both software and hardware solutions.

This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle,  gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements (https://www.productside.com/what-is-market-research-and-competitive-analysis/) , defining the  product vision (https://www.productside.com/what-is-product-vision/) , and working closely with R&D to deliver winning products. You will also be responsible for driving the success of the product by focusing on its positioning, promotion, and market adoption. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the product reaches its target audience effectively and generates the desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and translate it into innovative products portfolio and products roadmap

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates VIA across primary market segments

  • Create a winning product, effective value propositions and product campaigns to meet sales targets

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, pricing strategy, positioning, requirements & roadmap development, and product launch

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for development by R&D

  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI

  • Analyze market data to develop go-to-market strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing activities

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products

  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

  • Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources to sell the product effectively.

  • Develop sales collateral, product demonstrations, and sales training materials to empower the sales team to articulate the value proposition and address customer concerns. Brief and train the sales force

  • Drive product launches including working with sales enablement and marketing team, executives, and other product management team members

  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

     

    Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as product manager of software/hardware products in a dynamic environment

  • Previous experience in software/SaaS solutions/Software & hardware solutions  – Advantage

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job

  • Proven experience in defining new product strategies and business plans

  • Proven ability to create value for customers through product portfolios

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Exact Sciences.

  • MBA – Significant advantage

  • Willingness to frequently travel abroad
