Eaton Corporation Assistant Manager-Finance in Ahmednagar, India

What you’ll do:

Has responsibility of managing the accurate and timely accounting, reporting and analysis. Ensuring timely closing of books for the site to ensure accurate reporting. Interfaces with internal and external auditors to ensure that all statutory and corporate requirements are met. Analysis and preparation of Financial statements, Monthly Accounts and reconciliations

I Planning, Analysis and Forecasting

A Plays an active role in providing meaningful financial information for decision making for Profit planning and Strategic planning to ensure the organization achieve its financial objectives.

B Leads the monthly forecasting process to ensure that proper processes are in place for accurate forecasting of Income statement and Balance Sheet.

C Assists in preparation of Organizational Strategic Plan, Profit Plan, Forecasts and analysis and explanation of variances and commentary thereof

D Sales Analysis and Product line analysis and reporting variances and thereof.

II Accounting

A Leading the preparation of monthly profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy for monthly financial and corporate reporting

B Championing the existence and competency of financial systems and standardized procedures to comply with US GAAP and Eaton corporate policies to ensure the highest level of integrity of both US financial reporting and local statutory local reporting.

C Scrutiny and Analysis of trial balance, financial statements and Analysis of variances.

D Expenses Accounting and control and Payroll and Benefits administration.

III Control

A To safeguard the company assets and ensure integrity of the financial processes and reporting by implementing appropriate internal controls within the organization.

B Ensures that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reconciling differences are explained or recorded on a monthly basis.

IV Systems

A Derive the intended benefits from Oracle 12i system and utilize for analysis of all variances relating to Sales and Pricing

B Provide Functional support in system design, implementation of the financial processes and integration to IT systems to ensure the Financial Analysis is accurate and timely

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA / C A/ ICWA with 5 to 7 years of experience with specialize knowledge in;

• Accounting

  1. Thorough understanding of Indian and US GAAP

  2. Good Analytical skills

  3. Excellence in understanding of numbers

  4. Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements.

• Systems

  1. Oracle Financials desirable

  2. Financial Modeling in Excel is necessary

Skills:

• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills particularly with respect to ability to drive corporate and organizational financial goals in when interacting with cross functional teams

• Desire to learn new technical knowledge and management approaches.

• Presentation / Negotiation skill

• Ability to work in a matrix organization

• Attention to details (especially in numbers), while demonstrating good business acumen as well.

• Experience working and managing in high-performance, quality-oriented, team-based workplaces.

• High personal integrity and strong commitment to ethical behavior.
