Eaton Corporation Finance Analyst in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Finance Analyst.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible to support and maintain compliance with Eaton Corporate Policies and Procedures and provide guidance where appropriate, helps to ensures compliance to SOX guidelines and participates in SOX audits and reviews.

Financial Analysis for month end and forecast P&L, responsible for the management of the CAPEX, support Accounts Receivables and Payable Team to resolve debt or billing transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Responsible for month end process, preparing journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reports.

B. Responsible for monthly forecast and annual profit plan

C. Budget Control

D. Ensure accuracy of daily / weekly finance reports assigned.

E. Complete balance sheet account reconciliations in ARCS and monthly sales reconciliation

F. Ensure continued plant financial compliance.

G. Management of CAPEX process.

H. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.

I. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

J. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and result.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.

A. Accounting or Business Degree

B. Knowledge of financial and managerial accounting.

C. 3+ experience years in accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing plant environment

D. Capabilities in managing systems, data mining: Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, Encore and DFT (desired), and Strong Excel skills (expert), Power BI as well as other MS Office app.

E. Knowledge of accounting, forecasting, cost control and purchasing procedures · Technical skills in account reconciliation, cost accounting and analysis

F. Ability to work proactively and anticipate the need and priorities of the organization.

G. Team player with flexibility and attention to detail.

H. Excellent data analysis, reporting, and project management skills.

I. Communication and computer skills.

J. Service Attitude.

K. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
