Opportunity Overview
Teradyne has an excellent opportunity for a talented part-time intern to join our Mixed Signal ASIC Test and Characterization team located in Agoura Hills, CA.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Setup and operation of lab instrumentation for test development of mixed signal Application Specific Integrated Circuits “ASICs”.
Work with design, test, and program management teams to assist with generation of the ASIC test plan.
Supporting senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing.
Creation of software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing.

Working on a degree in an Engineering degree or Physics
Strong familiarity with lab equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, pattern generators and oscilloscopes.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic.
Experienced with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Preferred :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts such as reading schematics, layout and manufacturing techniques.
Some familiarity with signal integrity concepts such as S-parameters, TDR and impedance
Familiarity with beginner embedded systems (e.g. Arduino)
Familiarity with Verilog and FPGAs
Soldering and SMD rework skills
