Joni and Friends Digital Content Coordinator in Agoura Hills, California
Duties:
Coordinate content requests for website and digital channels
Administrate incoming content and web requests within Asana and Outlook
Maintain content calendars and execute digital content planning within Asana
Assist in documenting digital best practices for the ministry
Design, strategize, and publish digital content on WordPress/Avada
Coordinate publishing digital content across pages within WordPress/Avada
Curate internal and external photos to support website and digital content
Recommend CTAs for devotionals, blog, and additional pages as required
Coordinate the upkeep of digital content across WordPress/SharePoint
Coordinate written and visual assets for video content produced by the Marketing team to increase SEO, video views, and web traffic
Monitor analytics and performance across digital channels
Develop benchmarks for measuring impact of digital content
Create weekly and monthly insight reports to communicate results to management
Coordinate and maintain content updates and requests for Salesforce portal
Administrate incoming requests for content updates on the Joni and Friends Salesforce user portal
Maintain and update content to the Joni and Friends Salesforce user portal to ensure optimal user experience
Support the implementation of digital strategies by coordinating digital assets for ministry-wide campaigns
Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications:
Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
2+ years in a content design, digital marketing, or web design role
Technical capabilities utilizing WordPress and Microsoft O365; experience using Asana, GA4, Salesforce, and YouTube preferred
Excellent editorial judgment and a clear understanding of the Joni and Friends brand
Understanding of digital content best practices and use of data to inform decision-making
Organized and able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
Good interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines is necessary
Must be detail oriented, committed to accuracy, a team player and self-starter who is flexible and able to work independently
Must have a strong sense of confidentiality
Strong general computer skills are necessary along with a competent, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet
Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable
Compensation is $25.00 to $27.00/hour. This is a hybrid position. In office: Monday Tuesday, and Friday. Remote: Wednesday and Friday.

- Lead Like Jesus is a course of study provided to all employees and is based on the book written by Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges of the same name.
