How Will You Make an Impact?

You will provide administrative support to the distribution operations while serving as a key liaison between distribution, customers, vendors, sales, and customer service. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with all necessary departments and outside vendors to resolve distribution issues.

A Day In The Life:

  • Receiving, prioritizing, and directing warehouse phone calls, e-mails, and voice messaging pertaining to customer issues and order inquiries.

  • Occasionally meet with local carriers to discuss freight claims and initiate process of recovery for inbound and outbound freight claims.

  • Respond to inquiries on customer orders in the Warehouse Management and inventory control systems.

  • Provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificate of Analysis (C of A) as requested.

  • Update, assist with and cancel orders when required from the customer order pool and run recovery reports as needed.

  • General administrative duties such as filing, faxing, answering phones, and preparing correspondence.

  • Assist in the process of onboarding new employees and in the training of other Logistics Support Representatives as needed.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities in support of the operation as the need arises.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

To perform optimally, satisfactorily complete each essential duty associated with the role including but not limited to collaborating professionally with members of the team or department to ensure customer satisfaction, show proficiency in aspects of customer service and distribution operations and follow standard operating procedures.

  • A High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

  • Customer service or customer facing experience.

  • Proficiency with computers, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and email.

  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and provide consistent results.

  • Work independently and apply problem-solving abilities to issues that arise.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and regularly move around department is often required. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching may also be required.

  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance necessary for adequate scheduling and coverage.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push between 40 and 70 pounds frequently.
