Job Summary: S4 Inc. is seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Project Management Specialist to support the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). ARL's mission is to discover, innovate, and transition science and technology to ensure dominant strategic land power, with a vision to be the nation's premier laboratory for land forces. The Cybersecurity Project Management Specialist will work within the Cybersecurity Office under the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), managing Cybersecurity-led projects and ensuring compliance with DoD and Army standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform project management efforts for Cybersecurity-led projects, including developing project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements.

  • Maintain current project information in ARL-approved project tracking tools.

  • Evaluate technical innovation and new enterprise IT projects, providing thorough assessments of Cybersecurity concerns and recommendations.

  • Develop and submit detailed written reports for government consideration during project planning and implementation.

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

  • Ensure compliance with DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards across all projects.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, preferably within a Cybersecurity or IT environment.

  • Strong understanding of DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards and protocols.

  • Proven ability to develop project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements.

  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate technical innovations and enterprise IT projects.

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Proficiency with project management and tracking tools.

    Key Areas of Focus:

  • Support the Cybersecurity Office under the OCIO within ARL.

  • Manage Cybersecurity services for ARL's three directorates: Research Business Directorate (RBD), the Army Research Directorate (ARD), and the Army Research Office (ARO).

  • Ensure successful performance and compliance with Cybersecurity standards across ARL environments.
