Description

Robert Half has a client in the Entertainment industry seeking a Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in fully virtualized environments and over at least 5 years of hands-on experience. This will be a contract to permanent opportunity that will have a hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite).

• Maintain existing systems and the planning and implementation of new solutions to meet the business needs Work with other members of the team and external vendors in a cooperative environment to solve business problems

• Develop processes and procedures to manage the server environment

• Develop and manage BCP and DR for the server environment

• Ensure the server system environment meets the criteria for audits and inspections from different organizations

  Requirements

• Experience in all Windows based OS’s (Windows Server 2016 - 2022 Operating System and understanding of Microsoft Exchange Online applications)

• Working knowledge of VMWare 6.0+ and including implementation (vSAN experience would be a plus)

• Experience w/ SAN and NAS storage within a data center environment

• Creation of PowerShell scripts to automate processes within the infrastructure

• Working knowledge of connecting and managing cloud environments ( Entra ID /SSO environment)

• Managing enterprise backups (Veeam preferred)

• 3+ years’ experience managing DNS/DHCP
