Description

We are searching for a meticulous and diligent Sr. Accountant. This role is based in Addison, Texas, 75001, United States. The candidate will be responsible for managing full cycle accounting for a business unit, handling various tasks like inventory entries, payroll tasks, vendor rebates, and fixed assets. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity to cover a medical leave. Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage all aspects of accounting for a specific business unit

• Handle payroll-related tasks and vendor rebates

• Conduct inventory entries and take care of fixed assets

• Extract and understand various reports from the ERP and use them for general entry calculations

• Aid in the efficient and timely completion of the financial close process

• Assist other accountants with year-end audit requests if required

• Undertake general ledger (G/L) accounting and month-end close activities

• Manage intercompany transactions between different business units.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant.

• Possess a strong understanding and ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Must be proficient in managing the General Ledger.

• Expected to be skilled in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in conducting Month End Close is necessary.

• Familiarity and experience with D365 software is a significant plus.
