Hilton Senior Business Analyst, Inventory Innovations in Addison, Texas

***The preferred location for this role is Dallas, TX but is also open to Memphis, TN, or McLean, VA***

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Customer Experience team that’s using guest insights to evolve our industry-leading channels and deliver personalized experiences. As a Senior Business Analyst, Inventory Innovations, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Inventory Innovations team reporting to the Senior Manager, Inventory Innovations, you will support projects including our Commercial UI designed to improve user efficiencies and ease.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Lead Requirements Gathering: Facilitate meetings and workshops with partners to gather detailed business requirements. Analyze and document these requirements to ensure agreement on business objectives and translate into functional requirements for the commercial user interface.
  • Manage and build the product backlog, identify new enhancement opportunities, and help create processes for efficient development.
  • Analyze the functional purpose, integrations, hardware, software of the supported inventory capabilities to work towards understanding the product outcome.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with designers and researchers' team to provide feedback on wireframes and validate that designs meet business requirements, enhance the user experience and adhere to best practices.
  • Create design, and research tickets with the Platform Engineer and Senior Manager to drive deliverables forward.
  • Work closely with developers, QA testers, product managers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of the functionality by communicating effectively, addressing issues, implementing enhancements and achieving project milestones.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Oversee daily status of tickets, allowing for reliable action on progress and concerns or issues to be resolved.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of work experience in hospitality/travel, information systems, Product Management, or Technology delivery.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Figma/Mural, Viseo.
  • Experience managing projects with ease under time constraints to balance concurrent demands.
  • Travel up to 10%.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Prior experience with UI development
  • Previous experience working within an Agile project environment
