ManpowerGroup HVAC Mechanic - all 3 shifts available in Ada, Michigan

Our client, in Ada, MI is seeking a HVAC Mechanic to join their team. As a HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities on a variety of HVAC systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of the HVAC equipment.

Job Title: HVAC Mechanic

Location: Ada, MI

Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr depending on experience

Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift available, Monday through Friday

What’s the Job?

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and servicing components.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying, and implementing effective solutions.

  • Repair or replace defective components, such as fans, motors, compressors, and electrical controls.

  • Conduct system performance tests and adjustments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work completed.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an HVAC Mechanic or in a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC issues.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
