Production Operators (Packer)

Position Description

Job Summary

KP Building Products, a member of the Kaycan Group of companies is seeking Production Operators (Packers) of all levels to join our teams at our Acton, facility

Schedule:

• Continental shifts - 2-3-2 • 12-hour rotating - 8:00am - 8:00pm and 8:00pm - 8:00am • Every other weekend off

Salary starting at: $20.89/hr with regular pay increases Premium: Weekend and Night shift premiums: $1.00/h

Required Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all product packaged has proper barcode, label, quantity and nesting pattern • Immediate notification of quality problems to operator, lead hand operator or Supervisor • Record information on Quality Record Sheets • Responsible for housekeeping in work area • Arrive at work station on time and remain at work station until relief arrives • Assist other operators on the line, as needed • Follow all plant rules and safety regulations

Additional Description

Requirements:

• Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • Experience - not required, full training will be provided
