Service Representative (CDL-A) Abingdon, VA PURPOSE

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-timeSERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CDL-A)for our Abingdon division.

The individual in this positionrequires a CDL-A andwill be responsible for delivering pre-sold beverage products to retail customers on an assigned route.This position reports directly to the Delivery Manager.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

``` - CDL Class A license with current medical card. - Excellent driving record. - Strong math, verbal and written communication skills preferred. - Previous customer service experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The following list of physical requirements are required to perform the entire job: standing; walking; sitting; stooping; fine finger and hand manipulation; speaking clearly; hearing to be able to maintain conversation; seeing to be able to read and to drive a vehicle; and lifting, moving, and carrying 25-40 lbs. repetitively, and occasionally up to 170 lbs. when handling kegs. Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
