Bio-Techne Field Marketing Manager - Cell and Gene Therapy in Abingdon, Minnesota

The Field Marketing Manager – Cell and Gene Therapy will drive the commercial product strategy for Cell and Gene Therapy products within Bio-Techne. This would include gaining alignment on portfolio strategies with cross-functional and global stakeholders. In this role will work closely with our regional marketing team to drive high commercial growth, whilst supporting our sales team to achieve their commercial goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in shaping the future of the emerging Cell and Gene Therapy market.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide support for launch initiatives and develop go-to-market plans for the C&GT product lines in the region

• Define and drive the annual Marketing strategy for the C&GT portfolio within the region and also input into the annual STRAP planning process

• Develop and deliver commercial product training to the regional sales teams

• Evaluate market and sales data to develop a deep understanding of the Cell and Gene Therapy market and our customers; use this information to drive and support strategic marketing initiatives such as loyalty programs.

• Market intelligence – understand the market for the Cell & Gene Therapy product lines, the customer requirements and competitor products

• Execute the strategy for the Cell & Gene Therapy product lines for the region including the positioning of the product, regional pricing evaluation, route to market and EMEA specific marketing outputs for the region

• Own the voice of customer and voice of sales process – ensure that the content is distributed to the appropriate teams

• Input into new product development, via voice of customer/voice of sales and relay the information to the Divisional Product Managers

• Own the process of KOL (Key Opinion Leader) evaluation and curation and actively manage collaborations with the KOL’s

• Liaise with our Divisional Product Managers to align with our corporate Bio-Techne strategies where applicable for our region

• Represent Bio-Techne at key CGT events in EMEA and undertake activities to build the Bio- Techne brand

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of product/marketing management experience within the life sciences field; or Ph.D. with 3 years of experience

• Significant experience in the Cell & Gene Therapy Market would be an advantage

• Demonstrable experience of working within a life science, product-based environment with a strong commercial focus

• Possess strong IT skills; including experience of working with databases

• There will be an expectation that this role will require travel within the region
