Bio-Techne Accounts Receivable Assistant in Abingdon, Minnesota

Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function. The candidate will be responsible for making decisions with the guidance of the Accounts Manager/Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be hard working and enthusiastic with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Essential Functions

• Create new customer accounts in D365.

• Assisting with online orders/ maintain customer records on our Web.

• Complete New Vendor Form Requests

• Taking credit card payments over the phone

• Posting cash receipts, clearing open cash and chasing copies of remittances

• Preparing Bank Journals

• Issuing Proforma Invoices

• Assisting with online orders/ maintain customer records on our Web.

• Open / complete cases/tasks in Salesforce

• Upload invoices onto customer e-comm platforms and maintenance of rejected invoices.

• Assist with credit control for an assigned country/region including chasing aged invoices, reporting monthly feedback about assigned customers, assisting Supervisor to manage the financial risk.

• Communicating with Customers in various forms i.e. emails/phone/Teams and taking necessary steps to solve the enquiries (i.e. refunds, credit note requests)

• Assist with the ideas and implementation of new processes.

• Assist with relevant internal and external audits.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Fluent written and spoken English is essential, second language desirable.

• GSCE or equivalent education passes in English and Maths

• Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role

• Excellent IT skills, including experience of working with Microsoft Excel to intermediate level. Knowledge of Microsoft D365 would be beneficial.
