Description

We are in search of a Director of Website Operations and Services to join a higher education client. This role will involve a range of responsibilities, from overseeing full stack web development to managing and implementing website governance. The successful candidate will have a blend of full stack web development, technical SEO, and UX/UI experience. You will be in charge of a website overhaul, redesign, and project planning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement the future state website's structures, including site mapping, taxonomy and wireframing

• Oversee and implement the technical aspects of SEO to ensure our website is optimized

• Manage full stack web development projects, coordinating with various teams to ensure project goals are me

• Lead UX design initiatives, creating user-friendly website interfaces that enhance customer experience

• Oversee UI design, ensuring all visual elements of our website are optimized for user interaction

• Implement website governance, establishing guidelines and protocols for website management

• Develop and maintain site maps to facilitate website navigation for users

• Lead wireframing initiatives, creating visual guides that represent the framework of our website

• Ability to perform major website overhaul, coordinating with various teams to ensure successful implementation

• Manage website redesign projects, enhancing the visual appeal and user experience of our website

• Establish, monitor, and ongoing reporting of KPIs for website operations and website performance

  Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, IT or related field

• 10+ years of hands-on full stack web development experience

• 6+ years in a leadership role

• Experience leading Agile planning and implementation methodologies for web development

• 5+ years of hands on Technical SEO experience

• Extensive knowledge of UI/UX design, database integration, and CRM integration

• Strong experience with web architectures, CMS, technical SEO, website analytics

• Strong communication skills and desire to build upon internal relationships with C-Suite
