Our client, a leader in technology infrastructure, is seeking a Data Center Facilities Manager to join their team. As a Data Center Facilities Manager, you will be part of the operations team supporting critical infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Facilities Manager
Location: Abilene, Texas
What's the Job?
Monitoring and managing data center operations, including power, cooling, and network systems
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for all data center equipment
Coordinating with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Analyzing data center performance metrics and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in data center operations and management
In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture
Strong understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives in data centers
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven leadership and team management experience
