  Job Summary

• Provides professional nursing care for patients in the Infusion Center following established standards and practices.

• The Registered Nurse in the primary nurse role is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span.

• He/She assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered on their shift.

• Seven-day coverage including holidays and weekends is required.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient’s status.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

  Education and/or Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is desirable, but not required.

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota.

• CPR is required.

• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate is required within 6 months of hire.

  Work Schedule

• Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks

• Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

• Occasional weekend (Every 11th weekend in St. Lukes Outpatient)

• Occasional holiday (Every 11th holiday in St. Lukes Outpatient)

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
