Overview:

Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Job Responsibilities:

The Technical Project Manager position will provide functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.

• Knowledgeable of all the computer based tools for project management.

• Collaborate with Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods.

• Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project.

• Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data.

• Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures.

• Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests.

• Perform other tasks as required.

• Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support missions up to 10%.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active, in-scope US Government issuedSecretclearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)

• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements,US Citizenship is required

• A minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.

• A minimum of five (5) years management and supervision of substantive military hardware/software development.

• A minimum of five (5) years systems analysis.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management , OR an A ssociates degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience , OR twenty (20 ) total years of recent specialized experience.
