nVent MRO Receiver/Training Coordinator in Aberdeen, North Carolina

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Training Coordinator to support the development of the hourly workforce at the site. This role will be responsible for MRO duties, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing training programs for employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communications skills, as well as a passion for employee development.

  • Maintenance, Repair, Operations receiving clerk.

  • Understands ordered part numbers and identify discrepancies between ordered items and received items.

  • Match received inventory with packing slip and receive item in ERP system (M3).

  • Process returns and claims for damaged or incorrect items shipped.

  • Partner with department supervisors and trainers to drive execution of training programs, and communicate training schedules and requirements to employees, managers, and trainees.

  • Coordinate training activities including job related training, functional training and other training as identified schedules for training sessions, including venues, arranging equipment, and ensuring availability of trainees with their supervisor.

  • Maintain training records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 2-year degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in or with:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Proficient skills using the Microsoft Office and related applications.

  • Ability to train within the skills of fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly.

  • Excellent math, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization.

  • Comfort in facilitating training methods involving individuals or groups.

  • Demonstrated skills in attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.

  • Abilities:

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize time/workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines in a self-directed manner.

  • Ability to influence and motivate others across multiple levels within the organization.
